Program Description:
Ambulatory care is provided at Byron Family Medical Centre. The centre provides a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach to primary health care. The interdisciplinary team consists of family physicians, nurses, nurse practitioner, social worker and psychologist.
The centre is an academic teaching centre affiliated with Western University and provides academic training opportunities for medical students, family physicians, nurses & nurse practitioners.
General Information:
- Provide comprehensive care to approximately 8000 patients
- Schedule 28,000 - 30,000 patient visits / year
- Provide 24/7 physician on-call service and make house calls
- Procedures include circumcision, vasectomy and minor surgical
- On site lab (Gamma Dynacare)
